ESP yönelik operasyonda gözaltına alınan ve bugün adliyeye getirilen 56 kişiden aralarında ESP Eş Genel Başkanı Murat Çepni’nin de olduğu 47 kişi tutuklandı.
Ezilenlerin Sosyalist Partisi (ESP), Sosyalist Kadın Meclisi (SKM), Sosyalist Gençlik Dernekleri Federasyonu (SGDF), Etkin Haber Ajansı (ETHA), DİSK/Limter-İş, Polen Ekoloji ve BEKSAV’a yönelik operasyonda 96 kişi 3 Şubat’ta gözaltına alındı. Gözaltına alınanlardan 40 kişinin emniyet işlemleri sürerken, 56 kişi ise Çağlayan’da bulunan İstanbul Adliyesi’ne getirildi.
Savcılık, 56 kişinin ifadesini almadan dosya üzerinden tutuklama talebiyle Sulh Ceza Hakimliğine sevk etti. Hakimlik, 56 kişiden aralarında ESP Eş Genel Başkanı Murat Çepni’nin de yer aldığı 47 kişinin tutuklanmasına, 9 kişinin ise adli kontrol şartıyla serbest bırakılmasına karar verdi.

“Kahrolsun faşizm yaşasan devrimci mücadelemiz”, “ESP umuttur, umut ayakta” sloganıyla tutuklama kararına tepki gösterilirken, karar sonrası adliye içinde konuşan ESP Eş Genel Başkanı Murat Çepni, “Bu kararları verenleri iyi bilsinler. ESP’lileri bu kararlarla esir alabilirsiniz. Ama ESP’nin fikriyatını, siyasetini asla teslim alamazsınız. Bu halkın özgürlük, demokrasi ve sosyalizm mücadelesi sürecek. ESP bu mücadelenin tam ortasındadır. Karamsarlık yok, yılgınlık yok” diye belirtti.
