İzmir’de 12’nci sınıf öğrencisi 16 yaşındaki A.K. sanal medya hesabından saç örme videosu ile paylaştığı fotoğraf ve şarkı nedeniyle sabah saatlerinde gözaltına alındı. Mahkemeye çıkartılan A.K. “örgüt propagandası” iddiasıyla tutuklanarak Şakran Çocuk Cezaevi’ne gönderildi. A.K.’nin tutuklanmasının eğitim hakkı, çocukların korunması ilkesi ve ölçülülük bakımından ciddi sonuçlar doğurduğunu ifade eden avukat Edhem Kuruş, “Bir öğrencinin sosyal medya paylaşımları nedeniyle özgürlüğünden yoksun bırakılması hukuken ağır ve ölçüsüz bir müdahale. Çocuklara ilişkin yargılamalarda üstün yararın gözetilmesi gerekiyor, tutuklamanın son çare olması gerekirken uygulanmasının ifade özgürlüğü ve hukuk devleti ilkeleri açısından kaygı verici” dedi.
